Frequently asked questions
Can Excel open a PDF directly?
Excel can import from a PDF, but it reads the page by layout, so wrapped text becomes extra rows and numbers land in the wrong column. Converting first gives the table real columns.
Which PDFs work best?
PDFs generated by a system — invoices, exports, reports — because they contain real text. A scanned or photographed page is read with OCR and needs a check afterwards.
What if the PDF has no table?
Then there is nothing to turn into rows. The converter is for tabular pages, not for prose.
Is my PDF kept?
No. The file is used only to produce the result and is deleted right after.
Do I need an account?
